Parcel Post
When parcels are sent by Canada Post to Australia, we are able to have the package cleared through the Australian Border Force on your or your customers behalf.
Express carriers
When goods are sent with FEDEX or DHL, usually these companies will do the customs clearance and delivery on your behalf as the fee is built in to the freight charge but if the goods are personal effects or temporary imports they may not be able to assist you with the customs clearance.
Air cargo
When your cargo arrives at an airline terminal in Australia, we are able to customs clear the general air cargo on your / your clients behalf, have the taxes assessed and the goods delivered.
Sea freight Less than a Container Load [LCL]
When your sea freight cargo arrives at an Australian port in Australia, we are able to customs clear the LCL cargo on your / your clients behalf, have the taxes assessed and the goods delivered.
Sea freight Full Container Load [FCL]
When your sea freight cargo arrives at an Australian port in Australia, we are able to customs clear the FCL cargo on your / your clients behalf, have the taxes assessed and the FCL delivered to their site.
Passenger clearances
When Canadian exporters plan to bring goods to Australia on the airplane [we are able to pre-clear the goods and pay any import duties and import GST before the goods arrive with the passenger at the Australian airport.
Temporary imports – Securities
Some Canadian exporters bring goods to Australia for short time, for an exhibition or trade fair; Platinum®is able to establish a temporary import security on behalf of the Canadian exporter [we establish a security, you place the cash as security and when you depart Australia with the goods, the funds are returned to you].
