ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Founder and CEO, Peter McRae’s vision has enabled Platinum Freight ® to expand and flourish since its humble beginnings back in 2000. Step by careful step, Peter has nurtured and grown his freight management and customs brokering business to become one of the most familiar – and competitive – Australian customs clearance agencies.
Peter himself is a certified Customs Broker in Australia and New Zealand, and a Certified Customs Specialist in Canada and the USA. In addition, he is also a Certified Trade Compliance Specialist in Canada. Peter also holds a Masters of International Revenue Administration and a Masters of International Customs Law and Administration.
His hard work and dedication has not gone unrecognised. At the 2015 Australian Annual Shipping and Maritime Industry Awards, Platinum Freight ® was named as one of the top Australian customs brokerages.
Peter is also the founder of the Platinum Freight ® Social Responsibility Program, which provides support for individuals and families in conjunction with community and charity networks and programs.
Aside from personal interests in reading biographies and travel, Peter is a proud father and enjoys spending time playing sports with his son.
